一滴黑漆在被切開後，長出更多的滴。迦梨沿著階梯、屋頂與廢軌尋找來源；每一次衣緣的接觸，都讓一段增生停在薄薄的乾片裡。
迦梨終止增生的力量，是這本書的起點。她把不斷擴散的黑色留在衣上，讓道路重新容得下行走的人。亮滴成為乾片，孔雀綠逐漸覆黑；神性的行動留下重量，也為別人的日常留出空間。

A drop of black lacquer divides and grows new drops. Kali follows stairs, rooftops and abandoned rails toward its source. Each touch of her garment brings a stretch of multiplying lacquer to rest in thin, dry flakes.
Kali’s power to end multiplication is the starting point of this book. She takes the spreading blackness onto her clothes, making room for people to walk again. Glossy drops become dry flakes, and peacock green gradually turns black. Her divine action carries a weight of its own while opening space for the daily lives of others.
